The Lake Oswego City Council has worked hard to make sure that every citizen had the opportunity to participate in the review of alternative project designs. Although every effort was made to design a construction process that would have minimal impacts, a project of this size will inevitably have impacts on the people of Lake Oswego.
The LOIS project team is dedicated to:
- Providing timely and detailed information about the construction process
- Listening to citizen concerns
- Working with citizens to address their needs
Upcoming Events

Information
There are four main ways to get construction information:
- Hello LO: A new section, Monthly LOIS Construction Updates, will appear for the first time in the January 2009 Hello LO and continue through the life of the project.
- Website (www.loisnews.com): See project maps, read monthly construction updates, get up-to-the-minute details about road closures or other impacts.
- Project Office: (currently at the West End Building, (503) 699-7466) Staff will be available during business hours to discuss the project, answer questions and address concerns.
- Join the LOIS email list: Monthly updates and “breaking news” will be sent to anyone on the project email list.
- Visit us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter.
When the construction team determines that a property owner or a group of property owners may experience a construction impact that is likely to disrupt their everyday lives, they will send a letter in advance of project work that explains the impacts those owners might experience. The team will invite owners to be in contact with the team about their concerns and may hold a meeting to discuss the construction plans in detail.
